Registration instructions for VIRTUAL participation in the ISLE Newcastle Summer School 2022 -
“The Empire Speaks Back”
Please note: Registration for IN-PERSON participation in the ISLE Newcastle Summer School 2022 - “The Empire Speaks Back” can be accessed by following the link to Newcastle University’s WebStore here.
STEP 1: Complete the virtual participant registration form which you will find here.
STEP 2: Send a completed virtual participant registration form to the ISLE Treasurer, Mirka Honkanen @ (treasurer@isle-linguistics.org).
STEP 3: Pay the virtual registration fee as instructed below.
Registration fees (for virtual participation)
ISLE member early bird (until 12th May 2022) | £75 (GBP) or €90 (EUR) |
Non-ISLE-member early bird (until 12th May 2022) | £175 (GBP) or €210 (EUR) |
ISLE member regular | £125 (GBP) or €150 (EUR) |
Non-ISLE-member regular | £225 (GBP) or €270 (EUR) |
To complete your virtual participant registration, please transfer the correct registration fee to the GBP or EUR values noted above to ISLE’s bank account, the details of which are:

N.B. It may take several days for the fee to appear as a payment on ISLE’s Finnish
Bank account. After we have received your virtual participant registration form and confirmation from Etelä-Karjalan OP of successful payment, we will check your membership status against our records. If all is in order, we will send a confirmation e-mail to the address you registered with containing further information.
